Responsibilities
- Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows
- Oversee and maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure ensuring stability and scalability
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Google Deployment Manager
- Automate and coordinate workflows using GitHub Actions
- Implement effective release management including version control and rollback procedures
- Containerize services and handle Docker image management for deployment consistency
- Partner with development teams to boost site reliability and operational standards
- Monitor application performance and resolve technical issues to maximize uptime
- Produce documentation and technical manuals for team reference
- Engage in code reviews and support ongoing enhancements of DevOps methodologies
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (3+ years)
- Advanced skills in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (3+ years)
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions for automation and workflow orchestration
- Strong knowledge of release management including versioning and rollback techniques
- Hands-on experience with Google Deployment Manager for infrastructure provisioning
- Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code creation and upkeep
- Solid background in Docker containerization and image handling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills in English, at least B2 level
Nice to have
- Background in managing or contributing to open-source projects
- Active community participation and experience with code reviews
