Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines using AWS Glue and Apache Spark
- Implement data extraction and optimization processes for warehouse operations
- Develop and maintain scalable solutions on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
- Build real-time data streaming applications with Amazon Kinesis
- Develop and optimize queries using Amazon Athena and Apache Hive
- Collaborate with BI teams to support process analysis and BI toolset operations
- Write and maintain backend services using Java and Node.js
- Ensure data security and compliance within AWS environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality code standards
- Document technical specifications and data workflows
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions
- Support data migration and centralization projects for healthcare data
- Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Experience in data software engineering with 2+ years in AWS-based solutions
- Proficient knowledge of AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon Web Services
- Strong experience with Apache Spark and Apache Hive
- Skilled in Java and Node.js programming languages
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service and Amazon Kinesis
- Knowledge of BI process analysis and BI toolset operations
- Ability to develop and optimize SQL queries
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in secure data handling and compliance
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- English language proficiency B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
