Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms tailored to supply chain applications, such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, network design, and logistics optimization
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain engineering teams to understand business processes, technical constraints, and data requirements
- Manage end-to-end data science projects independently, including problem definition, data exploration, model development, deployment, and performance monitoring
- Utilize expertise in Generative AI to create applications that integrate AI services
- Apply knowledge of time-series analysis, forecasting, and statistical modeling techniques to supply chain data and external data sources
- Perform detailed data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and areas for improvement across the supply chain
- Present findings, insights, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through effective visualizations and presentations
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and supply chain technologies, experimenting with emerging techniques and solutions
- Develop and implement end-to-end solutions for batch and real-time algorithms, including monitoring, logging, automated testing, performance testing, and A/B testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a focus on supply chain applications
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with experience using ML tools like MLFlow
- Expertise in working with both relational SQL and NoSQL databases
- Advanced programming skills in languages like Python, R, Scala, or Rust, along with experience using machine learning libraries and frameworks
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and data structures
- Proven experience in deploying data science solutions that improve supply chain performance
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills for tackling complex challenges creatively
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for staying informed about industry trends and sharing knowledge with team members
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI services and open-source models
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, dynamic work environments
- Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark
- Strong knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, with hands-on experience developing complex AI models
