Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Position/Trades booking platform ensuring robust functionality
- Maintain high standards of quality, security, and system performance
- Participate in agile development cycle tasks including technical analysis and documentation
- Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards
- Collaborate with production support teams for release management and maintenance
- Provide L3 support in collaboration with traders as needed
- Lead and mentor development team members
- Coordinate migration and refactoring initiatives to new development frameworks
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Optimize applications for low latency and concurrency
- Manage integration with distributed systems and external interfaces
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Core Java (SE), multithreading, and low latency optimization
- Proficiency in C# programming
- Experience with electronic trading systems or high-load distributed architectures
- Familiarity with agile development practices
- Experience leading migration and refactoring projects
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Knowledge of concurrency principles
- Experience with software development lifecycle processes
- Understanding of foreign exchange (FOREX) products
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership experience and mentoring skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
