Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain observability pipelines and tooling using OpenTelemetry, Golang, and AWS
- Build and manage CI/CD job templates for automated functional testing across APIs and Web technologies
- Collaborate with tech leads, managers, and SDETs to gather requirements, define scope, and prioritize work
- Implement and customize CI/CD templates, configure test infrastructure, and validate integrations
- Lead planning, estimation, task assignment, and progress tracking for engineering deliverables
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams
- Adapt to evolving project scopes and technology frameworks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Address technical debt and support ongoing maintenance and upgrades of observability systems
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with strong proficiency in Golang and/or Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
- Strong grasp of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and cloud-native design principles
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Solid foundation in software development best practices including unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
- Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and skillsets
- Adaptable team player with strong communication skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Scripting experience with Bash or PowerShell
- Understanding of observability concepts and experience with Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog
- Front-end development exposure with JavaScript, TypeScript, or React
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Spinnaker
