Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs in the MDG environment
- Design and implement core ABAP and object-oriented programming solutions
- Create and maintain CDS views for data modeling
- Implement and manage enhancements and user exits
- Develop and support SAP MDG workflows and BRF+ rules
- Extend MDG data and UI models according to client requirements
- Coordinate with functional teams to understand and translate business needs
- Perform validations and derivations within MDG processes
- Support SMT mapping and data transformations
- Ensure code quality and adherence to SAP best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP MDG
- Document development processes and technical specifications
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in ABAP development
- Strong knowledge of core ABAP and object-oriented programming
- Experience with SAP MDG/MDM modules
- Familiarity with enhancements and CDS views
- Understanding of SAP MDG data and UI model extensions
- Proficient in validations, derivations, and SMT mapping
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in MDG Customer/Vendor domain
- Knowledge of Floorplan Manager (FPM) and User Interface Building Block (UIBB)
- Familiarity with SAP MDG APIs including Governance, Context, and External APIs
- Experience with BRF+ and workflow development
