Responsibilities
- Manage and lead scrum team using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Track progress against project timelines
- Raise, track, communicate, and escalate risks promptly
- Engage deeply in day-to-day team and project activities
- Remove blockers and coach team to eliminate impediments
- Collect and report on relevant metrics
- Facilitate meetings ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage project scope and collaborate closely with product owners to maintain backlog health
- Manage stakeholders and align their expectations
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement
- Resolve conflicts and issues within the team swiftly
- Coach the scrum team to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
- Provide coaching and training to team members as needed
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
- Good knowledge and experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Sense of ownership and responsibility with a team-player mindset
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Ability to adapt effectively to changing environments
- Self-motivation with the ability to stay focused amidst distractions
- Analytical and quick thinking skills
- Ability to prevent and resolve conflicts and misunderstandings
- Knowledge of techniques to address gaps in Agile and Scrum processes
- Experience with successful Agile techniques
- English proficiency at the B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Prior experience in financial services industry
- Experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives in projects or companies
