Responsibilities
- Design ETL pipelines and lead migration from on-premises Informatica to AWS Glue
- Develop PySpark scripts for data processing and transformation
- Architect cloud-native data migration solutions following AWS best practices
- Collaborate with infrastructure and data teams for seamless migration and integration
- Optimize ETL performance and cost efficiency using AWS Glue and PySpark
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles focusing on reliability, security, and cost optimization
- Troubleshoot migration issues ensuring data integrity and operational reliability
- Document migration processes, data flows, and operational procedures
- Ensure automation of ETL workflows to improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience migrating ETL workflows from on-premises to AWS cloud environments
- Strong expertise in AWS Glue, PySpark, and Informatica
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and automation best practices
- Experience designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines in AWS
- Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework and cloud-native operational standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency for clear communication with clients
