Collaborate with the test manager and product owners to align on test plans and approaches for software features

Analyze detailed requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases/scripts

Design, develop, and execute automated tests for both functional and non-functional aspects of the software

Implement robust API testing strategies to validate endpoints for accuracy, security, reliability, and performance

Develop and maintain component-level test suites using mocks and contracts to verify module functionality both in isolation and within the system

Plan, execute, and analyze performance and load tests to evaluate system scalability, responsiveness, and stability under various conditions

Identify, document, and report defects with clear reproduction steps, logs, and supporting evidence

Coordinate closely with developers, DevOps, and engineering teams to anticipate and test upcoming functionality changes

Create and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and repeatability, focusing on API, component, performance, and reliability testing

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, incorporating quality gates for metrics like coverage and reliability

Communicate actively with developers, product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, review designs, and verify implementations

Organize and maintain accurate, traceable test artifacts in tools like Xray, Jira, Confluence, and Git repositories, ensuring all tests align with requirements and acceptance criteria

Proactively identify risks, escalate critical testing issues, and propose solutions to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automation Tester, with hands-on expertise in designing and executing automated tests

Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js for developing test scripts and frameworks

Experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing across web applications

Familiarity with Grafana k6 for performance and load testing

Strong skills in developing detailed test cases and scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage

Expertise in Web Service and API testing to validate functionality, security, and performance

Excellent English communication skills (B2+ level or higher), with proven experience in client-facing interactions to clarify requirements and provide updates

Experience with Docker for containerized testing environments

Knowledge of functional testing methodologies to ensure proper application behavior

Familiarity with GitHub Copilot for enhancing test script development

Experience with Grafana for monitoring and analyzing performance metrics

Exposure to Python for additional scripting capabilities

Experience with WireMock for simulating APIs during testing

Familiarity with the Xray plug-in for Jira to manage and organize test artifacts
