Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure, and reliable server-side solutions using Java and Spring Framework
- Build, improve, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems
- Work closely with product managers, QA, DevOps, and front-end engineers to gather requirements and deliver quality features
- Conduct thorough unit testing and ensure automated test coverage for backend logic
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems using monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk
- Lead code reviews and uphold coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
- Contribute to the enhancement of CI/CD pipelines and support continuous integration and automated deployment
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Mentor junior developers, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster technical growth within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- At least 3 years of professional experience in backend software development with strong expertise in Java and Spring/Spring Boot
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, including RESTful API development and security practices
- Hands-on experience in enterprise environments, preferably with Weblogic application server
- Proficiency with monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability tools such as Splunk
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills in Agile/Scrum settings
- English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Redux, and TypeScript, with the ability to collaborate across the stack
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Jenkins
- Experience in SQL
- Background in Financial Services or Wealth Management
