Work closely with engineering teams to understand system architecture and identify key performance areas

Provide data-driven recommendations for system improvements

Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of load testing methods, tools, and best practices within the Platform Governance team

Thoroughly document and communicate test plans, results, and insights

Optimize platform bottlenecks to improve performance

Develop and implement mechanisms to enforce limits at various platform entry points

At least 3 years of experience with PHP and proficiency in either Go or Scala, with a willingness to learn and work across all three languages

Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure

Understanding of microservices architectures

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Previous experience in the ecommerce sector, including knowledge of store operations, catalog management, and checkout processes

English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher

Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences

High level of initiative and drive, actively seeking out challenges and solutions

Strong growth mindset, eager to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements

Interest in or experience with the ecommerce industry, with an understanding of the unique performance needs of online retail
