Responsibilities
- Assume a role with approximately 70% operations and 30% development, adapting to project demands
- Transfer internal Docker images and dependencies from GCR to Artifact Registry
- Upgrade Docker images and update application dependencies regularly
- Detect and fix vulnerabilities in Python applications
- Review and refine cloud services and access controls using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Assist with migrating cloud infrastructure from GCP to AWS and support disaster recovery processes
- Work jointly with teams to enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on, production-level operations experience
- Proficient with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and AWS
- Experienced in Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Skilled in Python programming
- Knowledgeable about authentication mechanisms and able to support or implement changes like Azure B2C CIAM migrations
- Experience with Azure Active Directory B2C
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative work approach
- English language proficiency at B2 level for clear communication and documentation
Nice to have
- Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines
- Familiar with AWS CloudFormation, SOC2 compliance, Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Elasticsearch
- Experience with backup and recovery of PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot service-to-service interactions within AWS environments
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform
