Responsibilities
- Provide L2 application support, investigating and resolving incidents efficiently
- Debug issues across application, API, infrastructure, and network layers in hybrid environments
- Analyze logs and monitor system health using Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics, Dyntrace and SEQ
- Hands-on with Azure Functions, Azure API Management, AKS or Container Apps, API Gateway, Web Apps, and WAF
- Assist in troubleshooting web applications, REST APIs, and WebSocket technologies
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, mTLS, SSL or TLS, Azure RBAC
- Familiarity with protocols and data formats, including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
- Support mobile applications on iOS and Android (basic troubleshooting, installation, permissions)
- Write SQL and MongoDB queries to extract and analyze data
- Work with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem Management, Change Enablement)
- Engage with customers via calls and chats for real-time issue resolution
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and tracking
- Document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and contribute to the knowledge base
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an L2 Application Support Engineer or similar role
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Azure Cloud Technologies
- Proficiency in PowerShell, KQL queries, SQL, and MongoDB
- Knowledge of Web Application Architecture and APIs
- Familiarity with ITSM practices and ticketing tools like ServiceNow
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting or automation for support tasks
- Exposure to cloud monitoring tools and DevOps practices
