Responsibilities
- Contribute to cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing significant datasets
- Develop and apply predictive models and machine learning techniques
- Engage with teams to understand business objectives and uncover data analytic possibilities
- Design data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Prepare and deliver reports to teams and management
- Keep current with advances in data science and machine learning methods
Requirements
- On-site presence in Lisbon office once per week is required
- Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Proficient knowledge of statistical methods and data mining
- Experience with Python or R programming
- Understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational competencies
Nice to have
- Familiarity with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Background in deep learning and neural networks
- Knowledge of SQL and database management
