Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines and architectures
- Analyze large, complex data sets to address challenging, non-standard problems
- Maintain data models and manage databases using SQL
- Create scripts and automate workflows with Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Engage in code reviews and improve team dynamics
- Share findings and provide insights during data analysis presentations
Requirements
- On-site presence at the Lisbon office weekly
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Skills in SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving and analytical reasoning
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork competency
Nice to have
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Background in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with Databricks
