Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines and architectures
- Analyze large, complex data sets to address challenging, unique problems
- Maintain data models and databases through SQL
- Create scripts and automate workflows using Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill data needs and deliver efficient solutions
- Engage in code reviews and strengthen team cohesion
- Share findings and deliver insights during data analysis presentations
Requirements
- Mandatory on-site presence at the Lisbon office once a week
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Skills in SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Strong aptitude in problem-solving and analytical reasoning
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
Nice to have
- Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Background in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Capability to work with Databricks
