Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines and architectures
- Analyze large, complex data sets to address challenging, non-standard problems
- Maintain data models and databases through SQL
- Create scripts and automate workflows using Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Engage in code reviews and contribute to enhancing team dynamics
- Share findings and provide insights during data analysis presentations
Requirements
- Mandatory on-site presence at the Lisbon office once a week
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Skills in SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving and analytical reasoning
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
Nice to have
- Showcase of expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Background in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with Databricks
