Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines and architectures
- Analyze large, complex data sets to solve non-standard challenges
- Maintain data models and databases using SQL
- Develop scripts and automate workflows through Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver effective solutions
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to team development
- Present findings and share key insights during data analysis discussions
Requirements
- On-site presence at the Lisbon office required once a week
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Competency in SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Aptitude for problem-solving and analytical reasoning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of big data technologies, including Hadoop or Spark
- Background in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with Databricks
