Design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs
Ensure high product and code quality, test coverage, and maintainability
Work with SQL and PostgreSQL databases; optimize queries and data models
Implement secure and scalable backend solutions
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Manage containerized workloads (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in AWS
Automate infrastructure with Terraform, and build cloud-native applications
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and production issues
Work closely with the client’s team during knowledge transfer and onboarding
Collaborate with other engineers (e.g., BE, FE) within the SME team
Be open to acquiring new skills, including TypeScript/React, to collaborate effectively on cross-functional features

Requirements

Over 2 years of solid experience with Go for backend development
Proficiency in TypeScript and React, or willingness to learn and collaborate on front-end features if needed
Background in AWS services such as EKS, ECS, EC2, and S3, coupled with strong containerization and orchestration expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
Capability to work with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and data optimization
Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based development principles
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication
Ability to attend late calls and be prepared to work if required for collaboration with US Pacific Time (PST), including availability until 12:00 PM PST for key meetings
