Responsibilities
- Engage actively in intensive knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to gain a detailed understanding of business processes, configurations, and custom code for SAP Retail Merchandising Management
- Conduct hands-on exercises in lower environments to validate and solidify acquired knowledge
- Review, update, and refine support documentation, including SOPs and runbooks, to ensure operational readiness
- Manage escalations and resolve complex incidents within your stream with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Support key transition activities, including shadowing and reverse shadowing, to enable knowledge retention and flawless service continuity
- Drive the long-term optimization and innovation of SAP Retail Merchandising processes, including areas such as Pricing, Promotions, Assortments, Listings, and Vendor Contract management
- Collaborate on integration efforts between SAP functionalities and external systems, such as JDA Planogram
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with SAP retail solutions, with strong expertise in SAP Retail and SAP-IS: Retail Solutions
- Proficiency in SAP Retail Merchandising domains, including Pricing, Promotions, Assortments, Listings, Vendor Contract management
- In-depth understanding of SAP-IS: Retail as part of SAP ERP and Industry Solutions/Retail
- Capability to integrate SAP solutions with external systems, including experience with JDA Planogram integration
- Background in managing transitions and supporting large-scale SAP projects, including knowledge transfer activities and incident resolution
- English proficiency at a B1+ level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SAP Retail Sales and Purchasing processes
- Understanding of SAP Retail Master Data functionalities
- Working knowledge of SAP-IS: Industry Solutions/Retail for advanced industry-specific use cases
