Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly available backend applications and services
Solve complex infrastructure challenges through code and provide post-release support
Enhance DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline robustness
Drive architectural decisions and communicate solutions to product owners and engineering leadership
Conduct post-mortems to analyze incidents and prevent recurrence
Champion continuous improvement across infrastructure and engineering practices
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to address business needs
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to become a domain expert

Requirements

5+ years of backend programming experience
2+ years of experience with PHP, Python, Go, Java, or similar languages
2+ years of experience with MySQL or similar databases
Strong knowledge of database schema design, caching, and scalability
Solid understanding of distributed systems and communication protocols (e.g., TCP, RPC)
Experience with caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached)
Experience with CI/CD and containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
Ability to analyze time and memory complexity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
