Responsibilities
- Manage and configure Jira Cloud environments to meet organizational needs
- Develop, test, and implement automation rules within Jira Cloud to streamline workflows and processes
- Set up and maintain various Jira projects, schemes, workflows, permissions, and notifications
- Review and improve existing workflows, permission schemes, and automation
- Document existing and newly created Jira processes
- Create users, assign permissions, and manage projects daily
- Troubleshoot and resolve Jira Cloud issues promptly
- Support and maintain Python scripts using Atlassian Python APIs
- Control changes in permission schemes, screens, workflows using automation and scripting
- Create automation for project, scheme, and workflow creation and modification
- Provide ongoing support to Jira Cloud users addressing issues and questions
- Monitor and update Jira Cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Assist with further development of existing Python scripts
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Atlassian Platform Administration
- Proven expertise in Jira Service Management and Jira Cloud administration
- Experience developing and maintaining Jira plugins and automation rules
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy and Python for automation and integration
- Experience supporting application environments and troubleshooting technical issues
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level
Nice to have
- Experience with Atlassian Python APIs
- Knowledge of Jira Service Management advanced configurations
- Familiarity with permission schemes and workflow design automation
- Experience in software, system, and test engineering environments
