Responsibilities
- Lead and support migration of on-premise or legacy systems to Azure and AWS
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure aligned with migration goals
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support post-migration delivery
- Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to plan migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor)
- Ensure system stability, performance and security during and after migration
- Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes where applicable
- Set up monitoring, logging and alerting for migrated environments
- Identify risks, troubleshoot migration issues and ensure smooth cutover processes
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE roles
- Proven experience in cloud migration projects (on-prem to Azure/AWS)
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS
- Experience with large-scale or enterprise migrations
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor)
- Good understanding of networking, security and system architecture
