About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Frontend Engineering Lead to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key leadership role in the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain high-quality, scalable, and user-centric frontend experiences.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex frontend applications using React and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
Architect and build scalable and maintainable frontend solutions, including SPAs, PWAs, and microfrontends.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Ensure the quality and performance of frontend applications through rigorous testing and code reviews.
Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry best practices.
Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications:
10+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering with a strong focus on React.
5+ years of experience developing and supporting web-based SaaS applications in AWS or other cloud environments.
3+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
Strong understanding of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, etc.).
Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, TypeScript) and other backend languages (Go, Python) is a plus.
Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API design (REST, GraphQL).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Terraform), containerization, and managing development environments.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and security best practices (OWASP).
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for building high-quality, user-centric products.
Bonus Points:
AWS certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
Experience with building native mobile apps (Kotlin, Swift, React Native)
Experience with AI/ML and building AI-powered applications
Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
