About the role:

This is an entry-level role designed for someone looking to build a career in financial services and partnership operations. As a Partner Engagement Associate, you will support the accreditations and commissions team while also assisting the Partnerships Team Leader with key initiatives such as assigning Business Development Managers (BDMs) to events and coordinating sponsored activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Accreditations and Commissions:

  • Maintain and manage internal records of accredited brokers, including onboarding and offboarding procedures.

  • Provide regular reporting on new accreditations and onboarding volumes.

  • Investigate and resolve commission queries in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Record, reconcile, and report payments to aggregators.

  • Manage and reconcile partner portfolio data, resolving any identified exceptions.

  • Prepare monthly Aggregation Partner reports using key account metrics.

  • Act as a communication link between key customers and internal teams.

  • Use initiative to prioritise deadlines and perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.

  • Become an expert on Shift’s products, procedures, and values.

Partnerships Support:

  • Manage ad-hoc broker and Aggregation Partner queries with strong written and verbal communication.

  • Support planning, communication, and execution of sponsored events.

  • Assist the Partnerships Team Leader in assigning BDMs to broker and aggregator events.

Skill & Experience required:

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong computer skills and with the ability to learn quickly (Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PPT& G-Mail)

  • Good planning skills

  • High level of professionalism

  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive, and a great attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Financial Service Experience is desirable.
