The Opportunity

EY-Audit is a leading provider of financial audit services in Australia. As a part of this team, you’ll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, providing market-leading, evidence-based insights to help organisations build trust and confidence in their financial reporting.

Your key responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients to obtain the information and explanations needed to support your team's audit opinion
  • Audit a wide range of financial statement balances
  • Review accounting position papers and use your skills to critically assess these
  • Use data to understand the full picture of financial balances
  • Attend meetings with key EY clients, ranging from finance teams to CEOs
  • Analyse the data that goes into a financial statement to make sure it is true and fair
  • Further build your knowledge through learning as well as undertaking external learning

Eligibility

This role requires you to:

  • Be currently in the final year of your degree program, or
  • If you have graduated, it should be no more than 24 months since you completed your studies at the time of your application.
  • Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or be an Australian permanent resident. International students should refer to our International Student criteria at ey.com/au/careers/apply to ascertain their eligibility before applying.

What you can expect

  • Candidates are required to submit an online application, attaching their passport (or alternative photo ID), CV, and academic transcript.
  • Eligible candidates will be invited to provide their team preferences and motivations.
  • Candidates may be invited to complete an online Job Simulation assessment, which includes a video response question.
  • Once we review your application and assessment results, you may be invited to an interview or Recruitment Day.
