The Role

Working closely with your Buyer and Allocator to drive the success of your business, as a Junior Planner at B&L, you are involved with all aspects of the business – from the strategic vision of your department to where stock is finally allocated. We work as a Team to drive outcomes and collaborate cross-functionally across Marketing, Visual Merchandise, and Store Operations.

Areas of Responsibility

• Participate in the development of the seasonal merchandise strategy and presentation to CEO.
• Manage OTB and Inventory.
• Coach and mentor Allocators.
• Analyse the performance of a portfolio to drive improvement.
• Drive financial targets – sales, gross profit, stock turn, GMROI, aged stock.
• Contribute positively in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Who You Are

• 2-3 years of experience in a seasonal business, preferably within impulse and general merchandise.
• Proven experience managing a high SKU volume, particularly in categories like accessories and general merchandise.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical skills.
• Effective cross-functional communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to problem-solve creatively and contribute positively in a fast-paced, high-volume business.
