Role Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality coffee and creating a welcoming experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, teas, and other beverages to a high standard.
- Maintain consistency in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Engage customers with friendly, professional service and product knowledge.
- Keep the coffee station and front counter clean and organized at all times.
- Manage coffee bean rotation, calibration, and daily equipment cleaning.
- Support the team during busy hours with food prep or order handling when needed.
- Uphold Eat Ozzo’s standards for quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a specialty coffee environment.
- Strong understanding of espresso techniques and milk texturing.
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for early morning shifts and weekend rosters.
- Experience using Mahlkönig grinders and La Marzocco or similar espresso machines.
- Interest in food pairing and coffee innovation.
