Mercor is looking for excellent contributors/maintainers to open-source repositories

About The Role

• The project will involve you working with our client to benchmark the performance of various different coding agents across a series of open-ended software engineering tasks in well-known, well documented python repos.
• You'll be working with common Python source repositories
• You will be evaluating the performance of the coding agent you're using across a pre-defined criteria
• This project pays $70-$150/hr.

The project will kick off immediately and will be ongoing for 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension. The initial project will require 15-20hr/week of time commitment, but should it be extended, the time commitment required will be more flexible

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
• Please note: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
