Media Account Director

Are you a senior media professional looking for a new challenge? Come and join our dynamic, integrated agency in Sydney CBD.

Metropolis are a marketing consultancy for the property industry who treat our client’s business like they're our own. As Account Director, you will lead the engagement, activation and delivery of media outcomes across a portfolio of property clients, playing a key role in our media team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for your portfolio of clients, ensuring the team delivers a professional, and solutions-focused experience.
• Lead end-to-end media planning including strategy, channel planning and trading across both digital and traditional media platforms.
• Oversee and contribute to campaign delivery, working closely with the Account Manager.
• Develop a deep understanding of your client's businesses and objectives to deliver proactive and exceptional outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and external media partners.
• Take ownership of financial administration across your client portfolio, ensuring invoicing accuracy, margin control and maximised revenue opportunities, with support from the Account Manager.
• Identify organic growth opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement across the media team.

• Has experience owning senior client relationships and leading media outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Has leadership experience managing the day-to-day execution of junior team members
• Is naturally curious and not afraid to challenge or ask “why?"
• Has working knowledge of performance marketing and how it integrates with broader media strategy.
