Role Overview

A genuine 50/50 hybrid role combining hands-on DevOps engineering with customer-facing application support. Reporting to the Director of Global Support, you'll contribute to CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and operational automation while supporting global customers through deployment and operations of enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Support and Customer Operations

  • Monitor and respond to support cases with urgency and ownership
  • Lead customer troubleshooting meetings and escalate to R&D as needed
  • Document resolutions and contribute to internal and customer-facing knowledge base articles
  • Participate in daily case reviews and provide technical insights

DevOps and Cloud Engineering

  • Drive DevOps engineering initiatives across Azure environments
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Support deployment models across Azure VMs, App Services, Containers, and SQL environments
  • Support containerized deployments including AKS
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Cloud Operations

Operational Excellence

  • Use Salesforce Service Cloud for case management
  • Submit bugs and escalate issues appropriately
  • Contribute to DevOps practices that improve reliability and efficiency

Who You Are

Technical Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years hands-on DevOps or cloud engineering experience, ideally from a SaaS environment
  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience including App Services and Azure-based infrastructure
  • Terraform — strong requirement, effectively a must-have
  • C# proficiency
  • Solid CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, and observability skills
  • Docker and Kubernetes proficiency
  • SQL Server, T-SQL, performance troubleshooting, and connectivity experience
  • Understanding of cloud networking, Azure AD, and security fundamentals
  • AWS experience advantageous as the company expands cloud capabilities

Professional Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication, including confidence on the phone with customers and stakeholders
  • Able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite
  • Self-motivated, diligent in documentation, and demonstrates urgency and ownership

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
