Role Overview
A genuine 50/50 hybrid role combining hands-on DevOps engineering with customer-facing application support. Reporting to the Director of Global Support, you'll contribute to CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and operational automation while supporting global customers through deployment and operations of enterprise data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support and Customer Operations
- Monitor and respond to support cases with urgency and ownership
- Lead customer troubleshooting meetings and escalate to R&D as needed
- Document resolutions and contribute to internal and customer-facing knowledge base articles
- Participate in daily case reviews and provide technical insights
- Drive DevOps engineering initiatives across Azure environments
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Support deployment models across Azure VMs, App Services, Containers, and SQL environments
- Support containerized deployments including AKS
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Cloud Operations
- Use Salesforce Service Cloud for case management
- Submit bugs and escalate issues appropriately
- Contribute to DevOps practices that improve reliability and efficiency
Technical Requirements
- 3 to 6 years hands-on DevOps or cloud engineering experience, ideally from a SaaS environment
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience including App Services and Azure-based infrastructure
- Terraform — strong requirement, effectively a must-have
- C# proficiency
- Solid CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, and observability skills
- Docker and Kubernetes proficiency
- SQL Server, T-SQL, performance troubleshooting, and connectivity experience
- Understanding of cloud networking, Azure AD, and security fundamentals
- AWS experience advantageous as the company expands cloud capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication, including confidence on the phone with customers and stakeholders
- Able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite
- Self-motivated, diligent in documentation, and demonstrates urgency and ownership
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Work in a cloud-first environment with Azure, containers, orchestration, and CI/CD at the core
- Support global enterprise customers across diverse industries
