Planners play a critical role in analysing and forecasting financial and product trends, reviewing performance, and ensuring optimal stock levels. They work closely with brands and suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery timelines and product requirements, while also contributing to company-wide initiatives and continuous process improvement.

The company is currently looking for a Senior Planner to join the Womenswear team on a 10 Month Max Term Contract.

About The Role

  • Communicates confidently with senior management, respectfully challenging when required
  • Uses influence and expertise to drive department growth
  • Effectively manages prioritisation of own and team workload during peak planning periods
  • Drives continuous improvement across processes, systems and tools
  • Remains composed and solution-focused in challenging situations
  • Drives department strategy and contributes to the broader segment strategy
  • Develops mid- to long-term strategic plans to drive growth and profitability
  • Manages all aspects of new season strategy, delivering comprehensive plans backed by strong financials
  • Recommends actions based on economic or social trends
  • Anticipates Planning Manager needs and prepares documentation, analysis and insights proactively
  • Works closely with Planning Manager and Buyers to maximise seasonal profitability
  • Monitors department performance, addressing underperformance and identifying growth opportunities
  • Proposes marketing campaigns to ensure optimal promotional outcomes while maintaining margin
