Pay for this job is USD $30 per hour, which is approx AUD $40. It will be subject to exchange rates.

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with strong visual reasoning skills to annotate images and diagrams for AI training.

In this role, you will answer precise visual reasoning questions grounded in real images and diagrams. Your work will directly support the development of AI systems trained on visual understanding and spatial reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate images, diagrams, and visual data
• Apply careful judgment to interpret visual information accurately and consistently
• Handle edge cases and ambiguous scenarios using provided guidelines
• Complete structured tasks with precision and reliability

Requirements

• Strong visual/spatial reasoning and attention to detail
• Ability to apply consistent rules when interpreting ambiguous visual content
• Comfortable with precise, detail-oriented work where accuracy matters

Nice To Have

• Prior experience with data annotation or AI training projects

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
