Overview

This is a permanent part-time role (1 day a week in our Sydney CBD office) for an Office Administrator. The Office Administrator provides day‑to‑day administrative support with a strong account focus to ensure smooth office operations while assisting with basic payroll tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is very numerate, very organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily office operations and general administrative support
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders
  • Support basic payroll functions alongside Finance team, including:
  • Collecting and verifying timesheets
  • Updating employee records (leave balances, hours worked, changes to details)
  • Assisting with payroll queries and liaising with the payroll provider
  • Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Work alongside the wider account management team to ensure compliance with internal policies and confidentiality requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Strong numerical and communication skills
  • Previous experience in office administration or a similar role
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes (timesheets, leave, employee data)
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced environment
