We're seeking industrial or mechanical engineers to help train AI-powered robotics systems for commercial and manufacturing environments. You'll evaluate AI performance on manufacturing floor operations, sensor data interpretation, equipment monitoring, process optimization, and industrial automation scenarios.

The ideal candidate is an industrial or mechanical engineer with hands-on experience in manufacturing floor operations, sensor reading, equipment monitoring, and production workflow management. You understand the physical realities of industrial environments and can assess whether AI-generated operational guidance is practical and safe.

This is a flexible, remote, hourly role — bridge the gap between robotics AI and real-world manufacturing on your own schedule.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
