More About The PPC Specialist Role At ClickClick Media
You will own a portfolio of Google Ads accounts across AU businesses in a range of industries. You are the strategic lead on every account you manage. You build the campaigns, optimise them, report on them, and have honest conversations with clients about what is working and what is not.
This is not a junior execution role. You will be expected to think, communicate, and drive outcomes. You will work directly with senior team members and have real input into how we develop our Ads capability as a team.

wrong, you tell the client before they ask. That

We have a team of around 31 in-house specialists. We do not offshore core work. We do not promise the world and then disappear. We are the agency clients stay with because we are honest, we respond, and we deliver.

What You Will Be Doing
Campaign management
- Build, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, and Performance Max
- Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis
- Write and test ad copy that converts — not just copy that reads well
- Own bidding strategy, budget allocation, and quality score improvement across your accounts
- Audit new accounts thoroughly before making changes and present findings clearly
- Be the primary point of contact for your client portfolio
- Prepare and deliver plain-language monthly reports — results first, technical detail second
- Run regular strategy calls and identify growth opportunities proactively
- Set realistic expectations and hold yourself to them
- Escalate issues early and honestly — we would rather hear a problem early than a surprise later
- Contribute to keyword architecture alignment between Ads and SEO where relevant
- Identify opportunities to expand client accounts into new campaign types or audiences
- Stay current with Google Ads platform changes and share relevant updates with the team
- Contribute to internal process improvement and share what is working across the team

What You Need To Have
- 2+ years managing Google Ads accounts professionally — not just as part of a broader role
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads Editor and Google Analytics 4
- A track record of improving account performance you can speak to clearly
- Strong written and verbal communication — you can explain a bidding strategy to a business owner without jargon
- Comfort with data — you can pull a report, find the signal in it, and act on it
- Google Ads certification (or actively working toward it)
- Experience with Google Shopping or Performance Max campaigns
- Understanding of SEO and how organic and paid channels interact
- Experience using AI tools to improve campaign workflow or reporting
- Exposure to CRO principles — you think about landing pages, not just click-through rates
- Prior agency experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
