Our latest advancement, a powerful new card issuing platform and intuitive management portal, is revolutionising how businesses issue, track, and optimise rewards and payments.

The role:

As our Chief Operating Officer (COO), you’ll be the strategic right hand to our CEO-driving operational excellence, leading change, and setting our business up for scalable, sustainable growth. With a team of 30 in Melbourne and an additional 30 spread globally, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role in simplifying systems, redesigning key processes, and overseeing critical business functions including Finance, People & Culture, and Service Delivery.

This is a pivotal role for a commercially-minded and execution-focused leader who will thrive in a high-growth, technology-led environment. You’ll work cross-functionally to coordinate the delivery of our business plan, embed operational discipline, and unlock new efficiencies across the organisation.

What you’ll do:

Strategy and Planning:

  • Partner closely with the CEO to turn strategic vision into operational execution - acting as a key advisor and business partner

  • Provide direct oversight of the Finance team and function - ensuring strong financial governance, reporting, and commercial decision-making support (you’ll need a solid financial or accounting background)

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and delivery of the company’s annual business plan and strategic initiatives

Operations:

  • Redesign and simplify core systems (our CRM, our Finance systems, our ticketing systems) and workflows to improve scalability, speed, and customer outcomes

  • Introduce better ways of working through continuous process improvement and cross-team collaboration

  • Ensure compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks are strong but pragmatic

Human Resources:

  • Lead change management initiatives across the business-embedding structure, focus, and accountability in a fast-moving environment

  • Develop training and development frameworks to enable growth of teams and individuals.

  • Implementing and managing 6 monthly review processes across the organisation including coaching and developing iGo’s high performance culture

Leadership:

  • Be naturally people & team focused: you’ll understand our full team through and through and oversee teams across People & Culture and Service functions

  • Support leadership development and culture-building initiatives that align with our values and growth ambitions

  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and customer obsession

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years’ experience in senior operations or COO roles, ideally within a scaling tech-enabled business
  • Proven success leading operational transformation. Simplifying systems and building scalable processes light you up
  • Change management skills: you’re able to drive adoption, influence stakeholders, and navigate complexity
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and experience overseeing finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Hands-on experience leading corporate functions including HR, and/or Customer Service
  • A commercial and strategic thinker who thrives on clarity, delivery, and making things better
  • Comfortable operating at pace with a hands-on approach: you get stuck in but keep the big picture in focus
  • Excellent communication and people leadership skills: you build trust, drive accountability, and uplift capability
  • A collaborative mindset-you're team-first, focused on impact, and committed to building something great together
