Job Description
Your new role and how you’ll make a difference
As a Junior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the development and execution of our product roadmap. You’ll have the opportunity to be a bridge between our development team and the business stakeholders, responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog.
Collaborating closely with the Senior Product Manager you will help develop, implement, monitor and support our Products.
The primary focus of the team is to maximise the value of the product roadmap by ensuring that we deliver high-quality features that align with customer needs and business goals. We love transforming product visions into actionable tasks and user stories.
Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will be essential to drive successful product development as this position works in partnership with a variety of stakeholders across the business to develop, implement, monitor and support of Products.
The value-add things you’ll be doing
Assist in managing the End-to-End Product lifecycle of key products, including:
- Collaborate with Senior Product Managers to prioritise and actively manage the product backlog such that it aligns with the product roadmap.
- Be an integral part of the delivery team and operate as the bridge between strategy and the day-to-day operations of the team.
- Form strong collaborative relationships with members of the delivery team.
- Translate strategic priorities into logical product requirements, structuring requirements into the right epics and user stories for the delivery teams.
- Write best in class customer centric user stories.
- Stay up to date with latest developments in the financial services and technology space.
- Create business cases to articulate the expected benefits and costs of proposed product roadmap items.
- Be the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and clarifications from internal and external stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate product updates, progress, and results to stakeholders and the broader organization.
- Analyse and regularly report product performance and share insights with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
The experience and qualifications you’ll need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive product decision-making and measure performance.
- Ability to translate customer/business needs into easy to follow functional and technical requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and product development processes.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to create clear and comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Be technical minded and love working with software and technology teams.
- Commercially minded. Ability to develop commercial propositions and RFP responses.
