The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Telium POS Solution Management in the Global Solution Development Division (GSD), you are at the center of the organization to define new solutions, defend them and make them available to the entire organisation. You aim to support and accelerate our solution offer by defining and deploying solutions that are in line with our POS product strategy. Moving from a one-off sales model to a more recurring revenue model.
The portfolio for Point of Sales (POS) products is divided into different product lines in order to propose a complete range of products covering all segments of the market. These products are equipped either with an Android platform (Axium products) or with a proprietary operating system (Tetra products). The team consists of 5 people working on product definition, requirements, marketing, and presentation of the solutions to our global colleagues. You work closely with the R&D and communication team, the management and your peers in the main 4 regions of the World.
Responsibilities
Manage the Software Development Kit (SDK) for the Tetra product family :
- Coordinate and publish the monthly roadmap
- Align with the Project management team
- Validate SDK evolution requests
- Communicate with the regions
- Global on-terminal API: library implementing APIs for payment integration in a 3rd party application or in a host device
Coordinate the Payment Reference design (framework to optimize the development of payment applications) for Tetra product family :
- It is a platform-agnostic set of software components
- Define the global strategy and priority roadmap
- Communicate with the regions
- Own the software evolution request process (including requests from all regions)
- Align with the Android product
Manage portfolio transversal topics :
- Coordinate the cross-portfolio topics such as PCI & EMV with the product managers of the team
- Coordinate the information to be published on the Ingenico Partner extranet
- Apple & Android Value Added Services applications
Be the Product Management representative for Merchant Services (MS) Division :
- Handle new demands (product evolutions) coming from MS
- Define the product strategy and manage the end of life and the migration to new solutions together with MS (in the context of the United project)
Meaningful skills
Technical skills :
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Notions in software and embedded development
- Solid grasp of finance and business concepts
Other important skills :
- Good ability to work autonomously
- Defining and specifying the relevant software solution required by the business (you are the reference person for the Solutions that we’re making available for the regions)
- Strong understanding of the customer needs, the competitive landscape and market forces
- Good ability to uncover opportunities for creating new (or enhanced) solutions thanks to software development
- Substantial knowledge in product management and in the product lifecycle management
- Ability to respond to challenges including the delivery of global cases, marketing plans, requirements and solutions definition, and requests for proposals
- Motivation and passion for collaborating closely with other departments and with the engineering software team to ensure delivery of the software components
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: French & English
