Scope
The Director of Operations – PPaaS & Global Solutions Cloud is responsible for leading, overseeing, managing and administrating our organization's cloud computing infrastructure, operations, service delivery and support. This individual is responsible for ensuring that our organization's cloud systems, solutions and services are secure, scalable, performant and resilient to meet the needs our global customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for cloud operations, service delivery and support, including the pillars of Observability, SRE support and Security and Cloud Financial Operations.
• Own the operational model and its delivery to deliver and manager our Cloud/SaaS solutions and serve our global clients
• Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the organization’s cloud-based system running on public and private clouds.
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures for cloud operations for compliance, uptime and resilience.
• Monitor and report on the performance, availability, security and costs of Ingenico’s cloud-based infrastructure for our SaaS deployment and make recommendations for improvements.
• Lead and manage the cloud operations, service delivery and support teams, with full responsibility for hiring, training and developing your team members in partnership with HR, DevOps, Infosec and Engineering.
• Be responsible for ensuring a 24x7 environment including deployment of services and availability with full “follow-the-sun” availability of support and service delivery for the cloud platform and its services.
• Establish best practices & enable leverage of automation across operations, service delivery and support.
• Setup, ensure and evolve KPIs and OLAs to both measure and ensure SLA delivery to our clients
• Ensure knowledge and data for the function with clear, transparent, timely and relevant reporting delivery to key stakeholders to ensure visibility, data driven decisions and tracking improvement
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or higher or relevant qualifications aligned to the role charter
- 15+ years of experience delivering and managing enterprise software products, preferably in the BFSI / Fintech / Telecom / Enterprise domains
- 15+ years of experience in leading and managing teams with 3+ years of experience managing senior managers. Experience in an international context strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience setting-up & managing Cloud Products and managed services (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS) operations, service delivery and support in the BFSI / Fintech / Telecom / Enterprise space
- Experience with cost optimization, automation and orchestration tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience working with AWS (preferred), GCP (Preferred), Azure and/or private cloud providers and environments

- Great communication skills in verbal and written in English. French is additionally relevant and useful, but optional.
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement with sound knowledge of industry and technology best practices and scalable solutions for Cloud, Security, Risk, Management & Compliance in the operations, support and service delivery context
