Scope
A key part of Ingenico’s strategic transformation is the build-up and delivery of a Payments Platform as a Service (PPaaS). https://www.ppaas.com/
PPaaS ambition is to build a world-class cloud-based Payments Platform as a Service (PPaaS) that empowers our ecosystem of clients and partners to offer their merchant customers innovative payment and commerce solutions available anytime, anywhere. PPaaS aims at bringing a solution to the complexity of managing and integrating with multiple players and value-added service providers, regionally and globally.

You will be part of building a market disruptive solution, working on cutting-edge technology projects with rich interactions in an international environment.
Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end Cloud strategy and environments (public, private and hybrid)

Work with Enterprise Architects and Security teams to define guidance and best practices

Ensure Cloud best practices are well understood and implemented

Promote cloud-native adoption

Lead troubleshooting sessions
-
Be the technical leader. Define baselines and best practices for cloud foundations / standards and ensure they’re well respected / implemented

You'll define operational measures and KPIs that accurately reflect the user experience of the platform

Take ownership and act as point of contact in resolving stakeholder issues related to the Platform

Assist in development, design, and training to implement process improvement.
Experience
-
Solid knowledge of Cloud solutions in general, and GCP in particular
-
Solid knowledge of platform engineering
-
Strong architectural skills in the following areas: Micro-service architecture, cloud architecture, cloud security, and IT security in general
-
Excellent troubleshooting skills. Capacity to address issues across the entire stack: software, hardware, cloud, and networking
Technical skills
Cloud expertise, ideally on GCP, at least on AWS.
Experience with production and support stack. Ours is made of Grafana, Stack driver, Prometheus, Elastic Search, Couchbase, and pager duty. Experience with monitoring.
Expertise in Linux systems administration
Experience handling containers, dockers, Kubernetes,
Mastering network technologies
Proficiency with SQL and no-SQL databases (e.g. couchbase) and indexation systems (e.g. ELK).
Proficiency with scripts languages (Python),
Mastering deployment and automation technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc…)
Mastering security stacks (SIEM, multi-factor authentication technologies, security monitoring solutions like Wazu, and WAF like cloudflare).
Additional important skills
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Strong adaptability and flexibility
Keen to work in an Agile/SAFE environment.
Strong team spirit, supportive of others’ contributions.
