Scope
Reporting to the Head of Presales EMEA and working closely with the Sales team in the DACH region, your role is central to accelerating our growth into Sophisticated and high value sales opportunities.
You are the link between our sales teams and our technical delivery teams.
You are able to understand and qualify what our customers want, and find the commercial value in it;
Translate this want into a fully scoped project, confident on resources required to deliver
Create a proposed solution, ready to be delivered to the client that is a compelling case for them to choose to work with Ingenico
Our Presales team in EMEA are trusted advisors to our people working in sales as well as to our clients.
You will work alongside and share the goals and priorities your sales colleagues in other Presales team members throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
- Lead pre-sales in The DACH region, building trust, integrity and a common purpose to help unlock value beyond your role
- Actively engage throughout the pre-sales process to provide solution leadership and subject matter expertise in the pursuit of customer opportunities
- Offer outstanding outcomes that our clients value and our business can profit from
- Be an active agent for change in Ingenico’s transition from Hardware provider, to a fully end to end payment solutions provider

- You provide support to the DACH region leadership team in pursuit of our mission, supporting the identification, conversion and realisation of sales opportunities
- You understand the services and products we can offer working with the sales team on the more tailored opportunities to deliver the best proposals and compelling offers.
- You communicate a customers’ needs internally to our internal delivery teams in a clear way.
- You are able to question and challenge all parts of the business to make sure there is clarity and accuracy in the sales process.
- Our sales team are your ultimate customers so key to this is to develop a strong and mutually positive relationship with them.
- Client satisfaction and trust are the key outcomes of the advice and support you provide
Experience
You have proven experience in a pre-sales, solution management or professional services role within a fast paced and complex environment, ideally within the payment ecosystem / payment technologies (embedded applications, web-based solutions) where you contributed to the delivery of high value & sophisticated projects of work, in a technology environment.

- Outstanding leadership and management skills – you manage collaborators of all levels of seniority, handling their expectations and satisfy their needs efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to develop key relationships both internally within Ingenico and with our clients
- Solid communication skills – you communicate around sophisticated topics in a clear and accurate way and are capable of influence, persuasion, facilitation and negotiation
- Strong analytical skills
- Autonomous, self-motivated able to evolve within a changing & dynamic organisation.
- You speak German and English fluently
