Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
This position is responsible for the daily Logistics tasks and for the E2E supply chain processes. The main focus is on the Logistics flow in Iberia, managed through local customization and logistics suppliers in Spain and Portugal, with the support of local teams.
Important is a knowledge of all site logistics processes. Understanding market of local forwarders with a huge focus on delivery from the site to the customers using different channels and mixing different types of transportation. Understanding of main Customs processes for Import/Export.
You will be part of the logistics team, reporting to the Hub Planning Manager in Italy.
The resource is expected to challenge conventional thinking and explore various perspectives with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, understanding needs, data, analysis, KPIs and regular reporting for the Supply Chain.
Main Focus:
The candidate will be accountable for:
- Customization Planning for the Iberia Region
- Subco coordination for customization and logistics tasks
- Logistics KPIs (SLA, track of capacity, 3PL cost and efficiency, transport)
- Calculation of quantity managed by local logistics providers, per type of service, and invoice check
- Warehousing management through local 3PL
- Delivery and transport management
- Interface with Spanish Sales and Field Service & Customer Care dept
- Interface with technical dept about tools and software used for customization
- Interact with customs broker for Import/Export activities
Eessential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily/weekly/monthly demand and set up the right delivery plan
- Transfer the requirements to the subco and chase them for customization and shipment
- Monitor the ontime delivery
- Monitor and cooperate closely with all local logistics suppliers
- Be the main contact for all concerns about customization availability and delivery
- Ability to collaborate across many different groups and communicate with multiple key stakeholders of all levels
- Produce and analyze main logistics KPIs
- Produce standard and ad hoc reports as required.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve issues that arise, and escalate if necessary.

- Supports success of Supply Chain projects through analysis. Assesses risks, manages timelines, identifies deliverables and any required resources
- Provide recommendations to improve organizational performance
- Identifies opportunities, recommends strategy and implements system changes or business process improvements to improve operations and KPIs
- Maintains best practices to develop data, analysis and standard processes
- Data oriented
Skills we can’t do without:
- Requires experience in Logistics, Operations Management, Planning or related fields
- Proficient in working with numbers
- Requires experience in couriers operations management
- Experience working/managing external subco preferred
- Good knowledge of SAP (WM, MM modules)
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel skills)
- Requires proficiency typically achieved with 2+ years of business operations
- Requires demonstrated ability to lead project or cross-functional teams to resolve, implement or reach consensus on issues
- Requires strong facilitation skills
- English is a must
- Written and Spoken Spanish minimum level B2.
Education:
- Preferred: logistics training, planning management, customs procedure management
Skills we’d like:
- Experience working/managing external subco preferred
- Good knowledge of SAP (WM, MM) is a plus
