Scope
As Cybersecurity analyst, you support in investigations on security threats and the identification of vulnerabilities. As part of a security operations team your day2day includes analysing, triaging, and processing of security threats, based on the risk and impact assessed. You support audits, propose solutions, and manage actions plans to ensure compliance with security standards according to risk analysis outcomes. You work directly with our IT team and support other business departments to remediate findings and implement corrective actions, supported by a security operations center team. Your reporting line is with the 1st line of Security to the Security Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Management of common security appliances and services.
- Provide threat analyses based on common security appliances and services.
- Investigating, documenting and reporting security issues and emerging security trends.
- Carrying out risk analyses, vulnerability tests and security assessments.
- Data maintenance and monitoring of security access (physical and logical).
- Analyse all security breaches to determine root causes.
- Support remediation activities to vulnerabilities and weaknesses in hardware and software.
- Coordination with other analysts and departments regarding system and network security as needed.
Profile
You successfully completed studies in computer science, security or IT and have at least one successful experience on the same kind of role. You have knowledge of common network, application, and infrastructure technologies. You come with team spirit, and you are driven by a target-oriented way of working as well as strong communication skills. You also have the willingness to learn and understand new things every day. You are fluent of spoken and written English and French. You are willing to work on site and in 24/7 shifts.
