JOB PURPOSE/MISSION:
Ingenico EMEA operates a client facing solution development capability that is responsible for client engagement, delivery of exceptional outcomes and supporting the business to drive revenue and margin at both a direct billable level and more widely within the customer account.
A software delivery manager is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing the entire software delivery process from the definition of scope and requirements through development, quality assurance, delivery until successful acceptance. He or she oversees the projects to ensure its success by coordinating teams, resources, and activities.
A software delivery manager is critical to ensure that an organization’s software development process works seamlessly. He or she makes it possible to collaborate and connect with every subdivision of entire R&D team.
REPORTING TO: Director of Solution Development for Eastern Europe, CIS countries, Middle East and Africa
Key Responsibilities

The Solution Development – Software Delivery Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing the entire software development process coordinating teams, resources, and activities to ensure that an organization’s software development process works seamlessly. Specifically, the role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

Contribution to the development/implementation of business plan and effective operation of Solution Development serving as a member of the leadership team.

Software delivery process definition, its maintenance and improvement.

Coordinating projects/programs with international R&D team working with subdivisions it’s managers and team leaders. Coordinating and managing the entire SW production process (projects execution).

Managing project estimations, collaborating with Project Managers on the prioritization of opportunities. Presenting of estimations and project plans to the senior management.

Ensuring that the scope of projects clearly defined and understood by project teams, project plan built and aligned with project members, kick-off meetings with project teams.

Review project progress across the different stages of project delivery and overview of the performance. Overseeing project teams, facilitating the smooth delivery of all projects. Provide guidance to the teams to anticipate escalations, pre-empt delivery issues and resolve blockers.

Acting as liaison officer between different teams to build partnerships and develop solutions, resolving internal collisions during projects execution phase.

Ensuring projects execution: delivery on time within the scope and budget. The data of each project properly reflected in SciForma and up to date.

Evaluating consumer feedback and instituting changes as necessary to manage expectations, monitoring competition to contribute to the strategic direction of SW products & services to insure our competitiveness.

Promote and protect Ingenico and the Solution Delivery team’s reputation in course of any engagement or general business activity.

The job will also encompass any other activities required to fulfil the demands of the department as a whole.
Key Performance Objectives/Indicators:

Assure deliveries to agreed time and budget within agreed projects scope

Contribution to the delivery of project portfolio to agreed time and budget, progress is monitored, and blockers are removed in a timely manner.

Deliveries of roadmap projects are aligned to strategic technical roadmaps and new products introduction plan
-
Test approach(es) adopted commensurate with need and reflective of context (customer & solution)
-
Quality of end deliverable/outcome as determined through certification/UAT testing results and client satisfaction index is commensurate with a good or great outcome
SKILLS/COMPETENCY SPECIFICATION
Competency/Skill Requirements:

Experience in the payment ecosystem and in particular payment technologies (embedded applications, web-based solutions).

Strong and credible technical authority in project management of software industry.

Demonstrable experience of contributing to the delivery of high value & complex projects of work, in a software delivery environment.

Demonstrable experience of delivering high standard of professional development and quality assurance and functional/organisational advocacy.

Demonstrable experience of managing stakeholder (all levels of seniority) expectation and satisfaction effectively.

Ability to rapidly absorb and apply process or technical information, with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving

Demonstrable contribution to cost-effectiveness and/or efficiency improvements owing to workflow optimisation

Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

A good degree from a leading university in a technical subject, software engineering preferred

4+ years of experience in a project/program management role in software industry
-
Proven experience of working within a professional, fast moving and challenging environment

Ability to balance multiple demands and priorities whilst working on time and to budget
-
Experience of working across mixed stakeholder groups and business levels
Computer/IT Skills:
-
Expert in all relevant aspects of project management in software industry.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint & Visio.
