Key Responsibilities
General:
Meets deadlines and demonstrates high quality when processing core activities such as taxes,
period-end adjustments, financial reporting and treasury (cash and investments).
Partners effectively with stakeholders to achieve common goals; engages team members and
leverages team knowledge.
Actively contributes with daily activities, pre-close and month end closing processes. Acts as
reviewer of Journal entries and account reconciliations in daily and close processes of other
analysts.
Prepares and reviews daily and ad-hoc reporting within agreed SLAs.
Designs, develops and approves process documentation based on knowledge transfer and gained
experience.
Participates and may lead local and regional processes improvement initiatives. Coaches Pleno and
Junior analysts on identifying and managing process improvement projects.
Complies and ensures the operation is aligned with company’s policies and procedures.
Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation
of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and
capital expenditure schedules.
Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of
accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies
and principles.
Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget.
Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.
Reports to Record to Report Process Manager.
Management of special projects / system migration:
The Senior Analyst is responsible to receive the information, upload it to BFC and after the project
implementation has begun by the local teams, analyze actual versus forecast financials, discuss variations if
applicable, generate and send the cockpit report.
Receives information and uploads it to BFC, the analyst fills in the information (received from the
initial excel template) within the BFC.
Analyzes financials, discusses with IT and facilities. Generates Cockpit report.
Analyzes Actual vs Forecast financials and identifies OPEX and CAPEX within BFC and SAP.
Discusses with IT/ Facilities reasons of support the variations.
Generates and sends COCKPIT report.
Management of WBS Projects (USA):
The Senior Analyst is responsible to ensure the financials are within the budget and within the time
allocations for each project. If there are any variations an Email is sent with the variances to the project
manager and the finance team.
Creates and sends WBS project.
Creates WBS project number in SAP.
Sends an email with project number in SAP back to project team.
Analyzes actuals vs budgeted amount.
Sends Email with variances to Project manager and Finance manager.
Inputs journal entry and settlement

Job Description: Record to Report Senior Analyst
Management of WBS projects (For Canada):
The Senior Analyst is responsible to on a monthly basis, keep track of all the projects and allocate cost
according to the time sheets input in Lotus by the R&D teams. Once the team receives the local approval,
journal entries can be input in SAP.
Creates and sends WBS number.
Creates a WBS number in SAP.
Sends WBS Number created.
Extracts, allocates and reviews hour rate per process in cost center.
Extracts R&D team time sheets.
Allocates hour rate from the cost center to every different project.
Sends allocation for local approval.
Keeps track of the rework projects.
Books journal entries and settles projects.
Receives local approval for journal entries.
Books journal entry for every project and time allocation.
Settles the projects. Takes all the financial transactions from the WBS-SAP module and
input into FI-SAP.
Adjustment and Period end (Taxes):
The Senior Analyst is responsible to input the tax provisions in SAP for both local and Group accounts. Due
to the need of expertise in calculating local taxes, these activities are to be performed by the local finance
teams. For some period end closings Group defines effective tax rate to be used. In this case, the team has
to book it according to Group instructions.
Receives Group guides for tax closing and Extracts Balance sheet SAP.
Receives Group guides for tax closing.

Inputs current taxes and tax provisions in SAP for both local and Group accounts
Banking and cash management:
The Senior Analyst is responsible to input journal entry (Debit to banks and Cash pooling).
Inputs journal entry: Debit to banks and Cash pooling.
Interest and dividends:
The Senior Analyst is responsible to identify Interest payments, determine dividends payments, enter
preliminary GL posting, review preliminary posting in paper and approve applicable interest for the period,
input interest/dividend in SAP, input withholding taxes and send excel spreadsheet with calculated interests
and bank statements to Tax Department (if interests applicable to Brazil).
Identifies Interest payments.
Maintains excel file to follow up.
Calculates interests in excel file to check that bank calculation are correct.
Reviews daily operations within the Bank portal.
Identifies applicable interest within the daily operations of the bank account.
Determines dividends payments.
Reviews and proposes dividends and prepares the proposal.
Sends proposal after the dividends propose has been reviewed.
Receives signed Proposal form before the year end close.
Receives minute and sends dividend instructions by mail to be inputted.
Enters preliminary GL posting.
Reviews preliminary posting in paper and approves applicable interest for the period.
Inputs interest/dividend in SAP.

Inputs withholding taxes.
Sends excel spreadsheet with calculated interests and bank statements to Tax Department.
Adjustment and Period end (Treasury):
The Senior Analyst is responsible to on a monthly/period end basis, extract bank statements and make the
reconciliation between the accounts. For countries that have accounts in foreign currencies (e.g. Canada and
Miami), the team must adjust bank accounts in foreign currency and re-evaluate currencies. The local teams
are responsible of reviewing and validating this reconciliations, so that the team can input it into SAP.
Extracts bank statements from portal and uploads in SAP (if needed)
Makes bank reconciliation. Compares balance in the bank statements and the GL account and
reconciles any discrepancies.
Inputs journal entry.
Runs batch booking.
Adjusts bank accounts in foreign currency and re-evaluates currencies.
Adjusts bank accounts in foreign currency.

Adjustment and Period end (Period end closing):
The Senior Analyst is responsible to close books in SAP. In order to do this, Finance Teams must review the
carried forward GL balances and any other adjustment realized by the team, before closing the period in the
ERP.
Closes assets period and executes forex (if applicable).
Settlement of internal orders.
Runs depreciation.
Reconciles Assets to FI.
Closes assets period.
Executes Forex and performs assessment cycle.
Opens future period and carries forward AR/AP and inventory balances.
Opens future period in Period posting table.
Opens future year for assets.
Carries forward AR/AP and inventory balances.
Transfers results to Equity and Carry forward GL balances.
Carries forward GL balances.
Creates the document: carry forward GL balances.
Transfers results to Equity.
Notifies Finance Teams of closing.
Closes Period in period posting table.
Financial statement presentation and disclosure (LAR):
The Senior Analyst is responsible to update GL with the information provided, consolidate financial reports
and send information to the external audit. The financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and
statement of cash flows) and notes to the financial statements must contain all the necessary information
that Ingenico´s group need to make the business decisions.

Business unit reporting package:
The Senior Analyst is responsible to inform actual numbers for cash and debt report, perform closing
activities, generate IRF report, run controls and solve blocking points, reconcile intercompany transactions,

Requirements
Competencies/Specific Knowledge:
Required:
Excellent understanding of R2R processes using SAP and their associated risks and
mitigating internal controls.
Proficient in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced, VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.) and
other MS Office applications.
Preferred:
Proficiency with R2R processes and procedures on an international level
(specifically experience with Miami, Canada, Colombia, and Costa Rica).
