Scope
This role is based in Valence right next to Valence Gare TGV, which makes it easily accessible by train (36 minutes from Lyon Part-Dieu...) !
You are part of the Android program team which drives transversal coordination with many teams across Ingenico business line (R&D centers , Product Marketing, NPI, Purchase, Quality, R&D leaders).
As an Android program manager you lead the coordination for Android POS offer. Reporting to the Android Program Team manager, you are responsible for running complex and cross-country projects impacting several Business Units; aligning with other strategic programs or projects and increasing efficiency of the organization. You know the best practices for program and/or project management and you are able to anticipate and independently manage risks, results and problems associated with your project(s). You identify, propose alternatives, different approaches, and mitigations. At the same time, you direct and advise projects teams in their daily work and report the status to management. You communicate and negotiate with internal & external clients on various aspects of projects, including requirements, scope, planning, cost and risks.
Main responsibilities
- Solve project issues, oversee and direct the delivery teams, manage conflicts within the different groups of stakeholders or other programs/projects.
- Create, lead and coordinate a transversal Program team.
- Build and follow the program reporting (Weekly, SteerCo, Stage Gate reports, ….) and present reporting to management.
- Build and follow the program KPI and review with the teams involved: Schedule, Quality, Budget, Risks, …
- Interact with other Work Package Leaders, located in multiple countries and different teams developing long-term relationships that lead to efficient delivery.
- Make trade off decisions between quality, costs, resources, scope, timing and risks keeping in mind the strategic view of Ingenico.
Signs of success
- Support Android POS roadmap development activities and ease introduction support and deployment.
- Build our reputation as a trusted partner and thought leader in the transversal activities management.
- Reach the program objectives (schedule, quality & performance, budget, …).
- Tackle risks management and propose solutions and alternatives.
Profile
You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or electronical – generalist engineer diploma.
You've at least least 5 to 10 years in designing and executing large Program or large Project management (>1Mln € or more than 2000 M.D.) in the field of embedded electronic industry and product development. You speak both French and English at a very good level.
Important skills :
- Knowledge in the field embedded electronics system development
- Business-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (presentations, team meetings etc)
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork
- Customer-oriented mindset, competent in managing relationships with 3rd parties and clients.
- Strong leadership skills - Creating and leading a project/program team
- Good proficiency in Business case management, planning and control, financial tracking and risk management, and change Management
Skills we'd like:
- Knowledge in the payment industry
- Experienced with offshore R&D coordination
- Knowledge of Agile method
