Scope
This role is based in Valence right next to Valence TGV station (Valence Gare TGV) which makes it easily accessible by train (36 min from Lyon Part-Dieu etc) !
Being part of the Point Of Sale terminals R&D, you will be the owner of the electronical architecture of the device, meaning:
- Pre study, development and qualification of the new devices
- Maintenance & evolution for the existing devices
Key Responsibilities
- Design analog / digital electronic boards:
- Definition of electronic boards architecture according to the product specifications
- Evaluation and simulation of integrated functions
- Components selection
- Schematic design and layout follow-up
- Definition and validation of manufacturing files (bill of material, ...).
- Definition of electronic qualification plan
- Qualification reports, evaluate and decide on results
- Technical support for certification teams (EMC, Safety...)
- Support for electronic board industrialization
- Analysis of field feedback during the roll out
- Maintain product ranges:
- By supporting industrialization and or quality to find out field issues or production deviation with action plan management to enhance the design or fix issues.
- By customizing definition by adding other features in existing devices ranges.
- By enlarging components source base with multi alternative source electronical qualification
Profile
You are an electronical / Generalist Engineer with 2 years of experience in electronic devices dev or you are a fresh graduated engineer with relevant internships in electronic design. You speak both French and English at a good level.
Important technical skills :
- Analog electronic proficiency (PMIC, DC-DC, LDO,..) and digital (CPU, DDR & NAND memories, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C,..)
- IoT connectivity (RF Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RFID,...)
- PCI and other payment business constraints knowledge
- Schematic tools (Zuken, Cadence)
- Test means (Oscilloscope, spectrum analysis, …)
- Simulation (HyperLynx)
- Atlassian tools (JIRA)
