Scope
This role may be based in Suresnes (close to Paris) or in Valence right next to Valence Gare TGV, which makes it easily accessible by train (36 minutes from Lyon Part-Dieu...) !
You will work directly with the Head of PMO in the Global technology department and you will drive portfolio and budget
You play a key role assisting the PMO team in building and monitoring the R&D budget. You collaborate with business stakeholders to manage quarterly budget allocation and create multi-year budgets based on working assumptions, ensuring accurate cost forecasts at project completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage Global Technology R&D budget proposing and implementing the financial framework,
- Build reporting, extracting / manipulating Maximize the investment ratio to enable future revenues, maintain maintenance at the level necessary to valorize our existing assets and minimize overhead costs (RUN)
- Continuously validate the alignment of R&D Budget & Portfolio with the company's strategy: Monitor and adapt the investment profile: Android investments versus Proprietary OS and Solutions investments.
- Optimize the method of financing R&D: Maximize the financial contribution of the CIR and the CAPI, Optimize the level of offshoring.
- Build yearly terminals budget together with senior management and align information with finance.
- Measure the R&D agility to provide the right solution to the internal and external customer. i.e. provide and publish KPI’s following the scope realization and the projects variables (budget, planning, costs, quality, risks,…)
- Track performance and apply risk and change management principles.
Profile
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in science, mathematics, or related fields and a postgraduate degree in data analytics or a related field and a strong interest for IT tools and systems. You have 10+ years experience in financial analysis, business administration, general accounting, cost accounting. You have experience in R&D Projects management. Ideally you have some knowledge of electronic payment industry.
Important skills :
- Proficient in Excel, PowerBI
- Reasonable knowledge of budgetary management and accounting principles, and procedures.
- Ability to prepare and present complex and written and oral reports.
- Strong analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and strong negotiation skills
- Strong team mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
