The manager anticipates and leads internal and external communication efforts during crises, oversees phishing simulation programs, designs tailored cybersecurity training—including for the Executive Committee (ExCom)—and acts as a champion for cybersecurity in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cybersecurity Awareness Strategy
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program that addresses all populations within the organization, from employees to top executives.
  • Foster a cyber-aware culture by designing targeted awareness campaigns, e-learning programs, webinars, and interactive workshops tailored to different audiences.
  • Regularly assess the organization’s cyber awareness maturity and adapt strategies to address gaps and emerging cyber risks.
  1. Executive and Leadership Cyber Training
  • Design and deliver tailored cybersecurity awareness training for Executive Committee (ExCom) members and senior leaders to enhance their understanding of cyber risks, threats, and responsibilities.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure cybersecurity is embedded into strategic decision-making and governance practices.
  • Prepare executives for cyber crisis management, including their roles and communication responsibilities during incidents.
  1. Crisis Communication and anticipation
  • Anticipate, plan, and lead all cybersecurity-related communication matters in collaboration with crisis management and incident response teams.
  • Develop and maintain cyber crisis communication playbooks and ensure they align with the overall incident response plan.
  • Serve as the key communication lead during cyber incidents, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent messaging to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct crisis simulations with ExCom members, communications teams, and operational units to test and improve crisis response capabilities.
  1. Phishing Simulations and Training
  • Oversee phishing test campaigns to assess and improve employee awareness and readiness against social engineering attacks.
  • Analyze results from phishing simulations, report findings to leadership, and design targeted interventions for populations at higher risk.
  • Continuously improve and gamify awareness programs to make cybersecurity engaging, relevant, and impactful for employees.
  1. Cybersecurity Evangelization and Influence
  • Act as a cybersecurity ambassador to evangelize best practices and the importance of cybersecurity across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead internal and external communication efforts to position the organization as a cybersecurity leader in the industry, ensuring strong cyber influence and reputation.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and industry events, promoting cybersecurity as a key pillar of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and ethical business practices.
  • Collaborate with CSR teams to align cybersecurity initiatives with sustainability and responsibility commitments, emphasizing the role of cyber resilience in protecting society and the environment.
  1. Influence and Communication Strategy
  • Develop and execute clear, engaging, and impactful cybersecurity communication strategies to influence behavior change across the organization.
  • Produce creative and engaging content, including newsletters, videos, blog posts, reports, and executive-level briefings.
  • Tailor messages to diverse stakeholders, ensuring technical topics are translated into accessible language for non-technical audiences.
  1. Metrics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of awareness campaigns, phishing simulations, and training initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports at leadership and ExCom level on awareness maturity, employee engagement, phishing test results, and communication reach.
  • Continuously refine programs based on data, emerging threats, and evolving organizational needs to ensure long-term behavior change and awareness.
  1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Communications teams to ensure cybersecurity awareness is integrated into onboarding, performance management, and broader organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners, industry peers, and cybersecurity communities to share best practices and stay ahead of evolving cyber threats and trends.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, risks, and trends, with the ability to communicate complex technical topics in an accessible manner.
  • Experience planning and executing crisis communication strategies during cybersecurity incidents.
  • Familiarity with phishing simulation platforms, security awareness tools, and metrics-driven program management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
